Order of Protection

The Nassau Family Court awarded our client a one year order of protection after testifying and offering one eyewitness to the violence to which he was subjected. The firm was successful in getting a brief video of the attack into evidence over the objection of the adversary.

Today the state dismissed its contempt charge against our client. The prosecutor stated on the record that it would not be able to prove the charge beyond a reasonable doubt and the Nassau County District Court dismissed the case.

Our client filed a Family Offense Petition on behalf of her young daughter who she fears is being exposed to illegal substances while in the presence of the other parent.
