Court Awards Custody, Child Support, Exclusive Use and Occupancy, and all Marital Assets to Client
We represented a husband/father in a matrimonial action after his wife abandoned him and their two year old child. After an inquest, the Referee awarded our client sole legal and residential custody of the parties’ two year old son with parenting time as agreed. The Referee also imputed income to the wife in its calculation of child support owed to our client. Finally, the Referee awarded exclusive use, occupancy, and ownership of the marital residence to our client as well as all marital assets as an offset for those assets the wife took when she left.
