Fathers' rights

Parenting arrangements built around your children's stability and your place in their lives.

The Law Offices of Seidner & Associates, PC has successfully represented many fathers in Family and Supreme Court. We understand that times have changed and the caregiver role of the father may be equal or greater than that of the mother. Fortunately, the published cases that deal with these complicated issues agree and courts often award custody to men. The standard is always which parent will be most suited to provide for the best interests of the children.

Our New York father’s rights attorneys have successfully assisted fathers in obtaining all kinds of legal results. We have represented men involved in complicated matters including negotiating separation agreements and litigating child custody, visitation, child support, orders of protection, and relocation. In fact, because we know that men often will not ask for peer emotional support, we often offer our new clients an opportunity to speak with past clients so that they can learn that they are not alone as well as what to expect while their case is open.

A case like this

Custody 2014

Four school witnesses. Sole custody for a father.

In 2012 the firm won the father temporary custody. At trial, four witnesses from two schools testified to how the child had struggled in the mother's care, including her refusal to consent to special education services.

The outcome

Sole legal and physical custody. The judge limited the mother to six hours a week, less than we would have settled for.
