The law affecting same-sex families is steadily changing as a result of the Supreme Court’s recent landmark decision which extended federal recognition to same-sex marriage. Cases are being published discussing issues concerning child custody, child support, and other matters that used to be limited to traditional family compositions. Our attorneys are committed to helping same-sex couples reach creative and practical solutions that protect their rights and their children as the law catches up with the societal movements toward general acceptance of alternative family units .
