Firm effectively sought for father to only have supervised visitation with very young child after obtaining evidence that he placed the child in danger including by violating court order to disclose the child’s overnight location and by allowing baby to play with sharp objects as shown on video provided by father.

Successfully defeated a motion which sought to vacate a default final order of protection.

Motion for alternative service was granted over father’s objections claiming that the court lacked jurisdiction over non-state resident.

Successfully petitioned the court for a change of venue for a divorce proceeding to be held in Nassau County instead of New York County

Successfully defended against father’s objections to court order that denied his downward child support modification petition, granted our client’s violation petition and award of counsel fees.

Obtained a favorable child support award after trial on behalf of client including an increase in basic child support after court agreed with counsel that Father’s unilateral move to Ohio and decrease in salary did not warrant a decrease in his basic child support obligations.

Successfully negotiated a Stipulation of Settlement in a contentious divorce case involving many large assets.

Obtained a favorable upward modification of a child support order against a self-employed father who attempted to conceal his true income.
