Today Mr. Seidner completed a trial wherein the clients, two grandparents, sought permanent custody of their grandson. The mother alleged that although the transferred custody temporarily, she never intended it to be permanent. A Bennet v. Jefferies hearing was conducted and then an inquest on best interests at which time the Queens Family Court awarded Seidner & Associate’s clients full custody.
