Firm Completes Inquest Seeking Custody, Child Support, Exclusive Use and Occupancy, and Equitable Distribution

After the Defendant mother abandoned our client, the father, and the parties’ child in early September and failed to return, the Court scheduled an inquest for the divorce proceeding. The inquest was completed today with the father requesting sole legal and residential custody of the young child, child support, exclusive use and occupancy of the marital residence, sole ownership of the marital residence, and that he is able to keep his retirement account an offset for the marital assets the mother took when she abandoned her family.
