Judge Grants Interim Relief Prohibiting Adversary from Leaving the Jurisdiction

After a mother threatened to leave the country with the children, the firm filed an Emergency Order to Show Cause on behalf of the father. The emergency motion sought temporary relief enjoining the mother from removing the children outside of Nassau County and requiring the mother to surrender the children’s passports forthwith. The judge signed the motion and granted the immediate relief.
