Today the Nassau Family Court agreed to our request to suspend a father’s visitation entirely because of his poor track record visiting his child and the fact that when he does she becomes very upset by his conduct and comments.
We also succeeded convincing a judge, who already called in an attorney to represent a father for free, to change her mind by proving that although his claim that he cannot afford an attorney was likely true, such was his own fault and not the taxpayer’s problem.
